These state-of-the-art lead-acid batteries are of the valve-regulated type (sometimes called "sealed" or maintenance-free), which fixes the acid electrolyte in an absorptive fiberglass mat.
The advantage of this design is that the battery needs no water additions, can be operated in any position, and can be used in close proximity to people and sensitive equipment.

Applications:
This bank consists of (16) 6V 200Ah sealed lead acid batteries.
Battery banks are often used for off-grid solar and wind systems as a backup source of electricity. These batteries store power generated from the sun, wind, and other energy sources. The power is then discharged as needed through an inverter. This battery bank can also be used as whole house backup power, remote site power, and emergency power.
